Islamabad: The Ministry of Interior has informed the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) that the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has reserved Fridays exclusively for female citizens in order to address their concerns and queries, according to news sources.

Previously, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had directed the officials concerned to suggest and implement new public welfare measures to provide added relief to the masses. He opined that there were many issues that could be resolved by administrative departments without incurring any expense. He stressed the need to provide relief to the common people and their everyday issues.

The authorities concerned recently submitted a report to the PM Office with regard to the measures taken by various governing bodies to promote public welfare initiatives. The report revealed that 64 such measures had been planned, 35 of which were recently implemented and 28 were in the works.
