Lahore: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is ready to take action in Punjab against the owners of scam housing schemes and their associates who have fled the country, according to a news report. NAB has also gathered data on the housing schemes owners and shareholders including the details of their assets.
NAB took action against a notorious housing scheme for which more than six thousand applications were submitted with the NAB. A number of plots and assets were taken into possession as a result. NAB sources have stated that complainants will get their money backs with profit instead of houses. A number of affectees of the housing scheme are pushing for houses instead of money and profit.
