Lahore: National Accountability Bureau Lahore was briefed on the developments in the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) City project in a meeting on Thursday – a news source reported.
The meeting was chaired by NAB Lahore Director General Shahzad Saleem. The meeting was also attended by Director General LDA Usman Muazzam, private contractors and developers, as well as other officials from LDA and Nespak.

According to LDA officials, work on the project was being done on three different packages concurrently. Package One consists of 2115 kanals, on which the development work will be completed by December of this year, while work on Packages Two and Three will be completed by February 2020.

The majority of the development work involves roads, footpaths, and sewerage lines.
The LDA City Phase-1 project consists of around 13,000 kanals, out of which about 1,496 kanals are yet to be acquired by the administration.
