The committee asked the FGEHA Chief Anwar about the ongoing development work and the reasons for the delay in the allotment of the flats to the federal government employees. Briefing the members of the committee, Anwar said the current projects are progressing at a rapid pace with steps taken to address any ongoing issues. The committee was also briefed on the waiting list and category-wise allotments for houses in Sectors G-9 and G-10 of Islamabad. The officials clarified that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) maintains its own pool of housing for its employees which makes the CDA personnel not eligible to receive accommodations from the Estate Office pool in FGEHA projects. Later, the committee also worked on the mechanism of the Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF) and National Construction Limited (NCL).
