The convenor of the sub-committee Senator Fida Muhammad said that the people responsible for seizing the plots of the government employees should be reported to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) or the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He asked Ministry for Parliamentary Affairs Joint Secretary Muhammad Ashfaq Ghumman to submit his report on the inquiry, which he conducted earlier, within two days.

Ghumman told the sub-committee that NAECHS had allotted about 1,030-kanals of land to the Federation of Employees Cooperative Housing Societies (FECHS) in addition to PKR 433 million as development costs; at a rate of PKR 250,000 per plot for 1,730 plots. Then, the FECHS had invited NAECHS members to pay dues against their membership worth PKR 850,000 per plot. Ghumman revealed that FECHS had issued possession of only 363 plots to NAECHS members, while the remaining 743 allottees were still awaiting the possession of their plots.

Subsequently, a meeting of the sub-committee was scheduled which will decide whether the case should be reported to the FIA or NAB. Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Senator Azam Khan Swati said that the sub-committee should give strict directions to the authorities concerned to facilitate the authentic allottees of NASECHS. He added that the sub-committee needed to ensure that NAEHCS proves beneficial for the deserving candidates.
