Murree: The Assistant Commissioner Office has intimated that the resort town would remain under complete lockdown during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, according to a publication.

The official notice shared by the office states that the resort town will remain in complete lockdown, during the vacations, in the backdrop of the possible spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The notification further states that the decision has been taken on direct orders of the Government of Punjab. The provincial government has placed a complete ban on entry of tourists in Murree from May 22 till May 26.

At the same time, the entry of tourists and visitors is banned at several other resort town of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and other parts of the country.
