Murree: Instructions have been issued to concerned officers to prepare a comprehensive plan on managing and monitoring on-going development projects in Murree, according to a news source. A meeting was held in this regard in the presence of Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Raja Attique Sarwar, MPA Hafiz Usman Abbasi, Rawalpindi Commissioner Talat Mehmood Gondal, Assistant Commissioner Murree Arifullah Khan, and Murree Municipal Corporation Chief Officer Najeebullah Tareen.
The meeting discussed options for the construction of a university, and was also briefed on the construction work currently being done at a hospital site. In addition to that, the meeting was also briefed on the status of development work on the Mall Road, arrangement for water supply in Bansra Gali, and improvement in infrastructure of Murree’s central areas.
The meeting decided that a comprehensive development plan was needed to ensure timely completion of the on-going projects.
