Murree: On orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the initial survey of 105 buildings has been completed, according to a news source. Murree Municipal Corporation Administor Arif Ullah Khan, who is also Assistant Commissioner Murree, will submit the survey report, which will be based on scrutiny of building documents submitted by the respective owners, to Rawalpindi commissioner.
After receiving these documents, Rawalpindi Commissioner and Local Government secretary will brief the Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Awan said that the due process will be followed under the directions of the apex court on merit. He also indicated that the buildings which can be compounded under the specified law will be accommodated by imposing fines.
