Lahore: The Finance Ministry Punjab has released a total of PKR 2.73 billion for all the municipal corporations and district councils around the province, a news source reported. The funds have been released for non-development and transaction funds.
Metropolitan Corporation Lahore has been given PKR 160 million. Meanwhile, a total of PKR 350 million have been released for Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Murree, and Sialkot. Similarly, PKR 940 million have been released for 35 district councils of the province, and PKR 1.28 billion have been released for 182 municipal committees in the province.
