Mansehra: Parliamentary Secretary for Water Salah Mohammad Khan has announced that the construction work for the Mundi-Ramgalli Road, planned under the provincial government’s tourism promotion strategy, would be launched soon – according to a news source published on July 4.

The parliamentary secretary said that the Mundi-Ramgalli Road project is a mega-development scheme in the province, for which the tendering has been completed and work will be launched soon. He also said that the 22-kilometre road is aimed at connecting the mountainous parts of Siren valley and Battagram district, which will both develop the region and promote tourism.

Khan said that the government has been mulling over new ways to explore and generate provincial tourism potential so as to increase the revenue by attracting local and international tourists. He revealed that more such projects have been introduced in the Kaghan valley and development work on some of them is currently underway.
