Multan: The Parks & Horticultural Authority has prepared a plan to set up a park similar to Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park at Qila Kohna’s Qasim Bagh, reported a news source. According to initial estimates, the park is expected to cost PKR 100 million.
The news source claims that the project has been under consideration for a while, where the only delay was selection of the suitable site. For this purpose, the PHA has been considering several sites, out of which they have picked Qasim Bagh. The sources also claim that funds worth PKR 100 million have already been reserved for the project.
