Multan: Punjab Chief Minister recently visited Multan and issued directives to upgrade the roads in the district, as per the details on January 18.

According to the details, the announcement was made by Commissioner Amir Khattak during a meeting held on Wednesday. The CM instructed that the road upgrade should commence from BCG Square and emphasised the importance of implementing this directive promptly.
Additionally, Commissioner Amir Khattak highlighted the need to take practical steps for the upgradation of MDA Road. He requested a detailed report on the progress of this initiative within the next few days.
In terms of infrastructure development, Commissioner Khattak provided an update on the Nawabpur road construction, stating that its tender had already been issued, and mechanical work, amounting to PKR 500 million, was underway efficiently. He assured that the project would be completed within the specified timeframe of 2 months.

Addressing the officers responsible for development projects, Commissioner Khattak urged them to go the extra mile in resolving the issues faced by citizens, as directed by the CM. He emphasied the importance of ensuring that the benefits of government policies reach the common public.
