Islamabad: As per Kashif Zaman, National Highway Authority spokesperson, a 118-km long Motorway route is being constructed from Thakot to Havelian, and is expected to complete in about two years, according to a news source. The route will pass through Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Shinkiari, before ending at Thakot.
Kashif Zaman further added that this is a part of CPEC’s early harvest category of projects. A 15 kilometres long part of this route is expected to be completed by May this year. However, the entire route will complete by February 2020.
The entire project is expected to cost PKR 134 billion, 90% of which will be financed by China’s Exim Bank.
