Faisalabad: It is suspected that more than 87,000 connections of the Water and Sanitation Agency may be illegal, according to a news report. This means that the people owe WASA hundreds of millions. The matter was revealed during Urban Unit consumer survey of Punjab.
It has also been recommended that WASA should cut off all illegal connections and send demand notices for the recovery of funds, which stand at PKR 560 million.
