Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan was recently informed that 40,000 kanals of land had been acquired for the purpose of developing CPEC City Nowhsera — a news source reported.
The CM was presiding over a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Peshawar, to review the progress on the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), CPEC City Nowshera, and Peshawar Model Town. On the occasion, he also directed the officials concerned to expedite the implementation of the proposed plan to establish CPEC City Nowshera.

The CM also directed the relevant departments to prioritize the completion of the project. He then told the relevant officials to convene another meeting specifically for CPEC City Nowshera.
Speaking on the occasion, Khan said that the provision of homes to deserving people in the province is the top priority of the government.

Advisor to CM on merged districts Ajmal Wazir, Principal Secretary to CM Shahab Ali Shah, SSU Head Sahibzada Saeed, Secretary Housing Hassan Mahmood, deputy commissioners, and other relevant officials were also in attendance at the meeting.
