Gujranwala: More than 250,000 people have submitted their applications for affordable housing under the Prime Minister’s Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) Gujranwala project – a news source reported.

According to the details available, the application process is still in progress and the applications are being registered by NADRA’s system. In addition, government officials have been assisting the public in applying for homes under the programme, with applicants required to pay an application fee of PKR 250 to get registered.

The NPHP project in Gujranwala will contain around 5,000 homes, and the allottees will be decided through a balloting process. Once the allottees have been determined, they will then be required to pay for these homes through easy instalments.
