Rawalpindi: The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department (ETNCD)’s Rawalpindi branch has sealed 67 more property units in a drive launched against property tax evaders, reported a news source. During the operation, PKR 2.8 million were also recovered in terms of due property taxes.
The operation was launched on the instructions of ETNCD Rawalpindi Director Tanveer Gondal and it was carried out under the supervision of the Excise Tax Officers of Rawalpindi’s Zones I and II. During this operation, the amount recovered from the property owners who haven’t paid their property taxes is almost half the due tax amount, which is expected to be fully recovered soon.
