Rawalpindi: Six areas of Rawalpindi have been declared sensitive during monsoon, and the responsibility of the city has been divided between 4 flood response units, while the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) staff has been put on high alert, according to a news report.
The six areas declared sensitive are Arya Muhalla, Nadeem Colony, and Javed Colony in the city, while in the cantonment these include Chamanzar, Dhok Charaghdin, and Dhok Ilahi Bakhsh. These have been declared sensitive because they are situation on low ground.
Moreover, all the relevant government departments, including 1122 have been pre-alerted on the matter.
