Islamabad: The Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI) and Capital Development Authority (CDA) have planned to start a monsoon plantation campaign soon, according to a news story. The tree plantation campaign has been ongoing since two months now, and will be prolonged for two more.
This campaign will be carried out as a collaborative effort between government and non-government organisations, the civil society, students, and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). The CDA will also distribute saplings amongst people to make tree plantation a convenient and fun activity for the general public.
