Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday launched a mobile unit to assist people in obtaining information about loans and the application procedure for home finance scheme, according to news sources. the one window operation will ensure that the citizens have access to the information in a hassle free manner.

The mobile unit is the result of collaboration between the Naya Pakistan Housing Authority (NPHA) and the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP). It will make loans for low-cost housing developments more accessible to the general people.
The mobile unit will first operate in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, as well as the surrounding districts. The program will be expanded to other parts of the country in the future.

In a press conference, the Prime Minister praised the efforts of the NBP in granting house loans to the underprivileged. He also told the banks to make it easier for consumers to get home loans.
