Lahore: To ensure the convenience and safety of tourists visiting Murree during the Eid-al-Adha holidays, mobile clinics will be set up at Patriata and Lower Topa, a news source reported on June 27.

Provincial Minister for Primary Health and Population Welfare Dr. Jamal Nasir, and Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, made this announcement during a joint meeting held to review the arrangements and preparations in Murree for the upcoming Eid-al-Adha festivities.
As per the details, these clinics will be equipped with first aid medical equipment, doctors, and paramedical staff who will be available to provide immediate medical assistance in case of any emergency.
Dr Jamal Nasir stated that the arrangements for Eid-al-Adha in Murree are deemed satisfactory, with all administrative officers and departments actively engaged in their respective roles. He further added that since June, July, and August are peak tourist months in Murree, additional medical staff has been deployed to THQ Murree.
Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman emphasized that cleanliness, security, and traffic management plans will be strictly implemented to ensure a hassle-free experience for tourists. He highlighted that 18 departments, along with seven facility centres and one control room, are on high alert to assist tourists. Additionally, 26 CCTV cameras are actively monitoring important locations in Murree.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaquat Ali Chatha assured that comprehensive planning has been undertaken to address potential challenges such as traffic congestion, limited parking spaces, and landslides. Immediate alerts will be issued when necessary. Double parking on roads is strictly prohibited, and the number of vehicles entering and exiting Murree is regularly monitored.
