Mansehra: The Mansehra Traffic Police has announced to set up mobile auto workshops on Mansehra-Naran-Jhalkhad (MNJ) Road for all motorists including tourists visiting the district during the Eid ul Fitr holidays, according to news published on April 29.

A meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Adnan Khan in which Head of District Traffic Police Jamal Zeb informed that a meeting was held with the dealers of petroleum products. The police department has directed the dealers to ensure every filling station has a stock of 4,000 litres of petrol and diesel in order to accommodate the tourists visiting the Kaghan Valley.
Moreover, the head of traffic police revealed that a strategy was finalised to deal with the possible influx of people in Kaghan Valley. It was disclosed that additional personnel will also be deployed on MNJ Road and in Balakot and Naran.

As per the details, the tourists visiting Kaghan Valley through Hazara Motorway can only use Shateh Interchange to get on MNJ Road. He further added that the rehabilitation of Shateh Road has been ordered. He went on to say that heavy machinery will be available in landslide-prone sections of MNJ Road, from Balakot to the upper parts of Kaghan Valley.
