ISLAMABAD: Minister for Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Bilal Yasin visited Punjab House Islamabad on Thursday to review the ongoing development initiatives spearheaded by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).
During the meeting, RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza provided a detailed briefing on the authority’s key projects and reforms aimed at enhancing infrastructure and urban development in the Rawalpindi region. The rehabilitation of the Rawalpindi Ring Road and Metro Corridor were highlighted as flagship initiatives. Additionally, maintenance and beautification efforts at Liaqat Chowk on Murree Road, the underpass rehabilitation project, and the construction of a street library at Rialto Park were discussed.

Minister Bilal Yasin praised RDA’s commitment to transforming Rawalpindi’s urban landscape. He emphasized the importance of transparency and integrity in the execution of these projects, ensuring timely completion for the benefit of the public.
He further stressed the need to protect citizens from fraudulent and illegal housing schemes, urging the RDA to enhance public awareness about legitimate housing options and the rights of property buyers.
