Karachi: Sindh Minister for Cooperation Kam Ikramullah Khan Dharejo said that he had given orders for the formation of a special complaint cell to register and address complaints regarding cooperative housing schemes in the province, a news source reported. As per the minister, the purpose of setting up this cell is to offer relief to the people who own property in such projects.

The minister shared this information while speaking to a delegation in his office on August 20. During this meeting, Dharejo mentioned that timely redressal of complaints regarding operations of cooperative housing schemes was important. He added that it was about time that the residents of Sindh benefitted from the regulatory measures introduced by the government.

He also indicated that he would pay surprise visits to the public offices soon to see if the staff was performing their duties in line with their professional responsibilities. Talking about the problems industrialists in the province face, Dharejo said that these units provide employment to millions therefore Sindh government will address their issues on a priority basis.
