Lahore: Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has emphasised the need for rigorous monitoring of development initiatives, focusing on aspects like quality, speed, and transparency to ensure their timely completion, as reported in a news article on March 28.

According to the details, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman reported during a session that there are currently 11 projects funded by the World Bank and 8 by the Asian Development Bank underway in the province.
During the session, Minister Aurangzeb conveyed directives from Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz to prioritise emergency care in Basic Health Centres, ensuring the provision of essential medical facilities including ECG services.

These directives were issued during a meeting of the Planning & Development Board (P&DB), where the status of projects aided by foreign finances was under review.
