Lahore: The e-Building Portal System for the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) has been made operational; with the first building plan submitted under the system having pertained to an apartment building in Nishtar Zone, a news source reported. According to officials, the approval for the newly submitted building plan will be issued within 30 days.
Under the newly introduced system, the building plans can be submitted at Khidmat Markaz Model Town, Arfa Tower and in LDA Office for MCL controlled areas. The completion certificates will also be issued within 30 days.
Moreover all kinds of building will have their building plans approved within 30 days. Meanwhile, authorities concerned have barred the submission of building plans at MCL zones and they can only be submitted at the offices mentioned above.
