The donated amount will be managed by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) such as UNICEF, HANDS, and Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA). According to a press release by Meta, the donation will help with emergency relief, food, water, sanitation, and returning students to school in all four flood-affected provinces. Meta Director for Emerging Markets (Asia Pacific Region) Jordi Fornies stated in a message that the company hopes that the governments and international organizations would contribute more to the relief and recovery efforts of all impacted regions. He also stated that Meta is working on platforms, dashboards, and app features to assist linked NGOs with flood victims and emergency service providers.

It is important to note that NGOs and private firms, including digital giants like Google and Apple, have donated to those affected by the recent flood in Pakistan. On the other hand, the government has cautioned that the help needed to overcome the disaster is more significant than the current resources and that further support from international donors and communities is necessary.
