Lahore: The Meteorological Department Pakistan on Wednesday (January 20) issued weather updates for plain and hilly parts of Pakistan throughout provinces, according to news reports. The department has forecasted frigid and rainy weather across the country. According to the said forecast, the weather will be of the following categories in various provinces.
Punjab
According to meteorological forecasts, most areas in Punjab will stay cold and dry, while thick fog will blanket the plains. The weather in the Potohar region is likely to stay partly cloudy during the night, with light rain and snow falling in Jhelum, Murree, Galyat, and neighbouring places.

Sindh
According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi has a low temperature of 13.5 degrees Celsius today, with a maximum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius expected. The city is now experiencing 10 km/h northwesterly winds. Today will be sunny, but there is no chance of rain.
Furthermore, other regions in Sindh will experience dry and cold weather. Sukkur, Khairpur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Mohenjo Daro, on the other hand, are predicted to have heavy fog.
North/Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)
The weather will stay partly cloudy in the northern areas, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with fog predicted in Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, and DI Khan in the morning.

Balochistan
Most regions in Balochistan will be cold and dry. However, the northern districts, including Quetta, will be severely cold and partly cloudy.
