Peshawar: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Communication and Works Riaz Khan on Tuesday stated that the chief minister will visit the Buner district and will announce mega uplift projects for the district, according to news sources.

The special assistant stated that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has instructed that necessary efforts be taken to expedite the development of the area. He also said that the chief minister’s visit had been scheduled for a long time but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Riaz Khan stated that the chief minister intends to address the public at Gadizi Ground and announce historical development projects. During the tour, the chief minister will also inaugurate a few of the completed projects.

Moreover, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government will focus on the development of neglected areas so they can be at par with the developed ones.
