Gujrat: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is scheduled to visit Mandi Bahauddin on Friday (February 18) to announce a PKR 30 billion mega-development package including at least 80 uplift projects in the district, according to news sources.

PM Khan will address the public meeting at the Quaid-e-Azam Stadium, Mandi Bahauddin, where the premier is said to announce the mega uplift package. The following are the details of some of the projects:
- 45-kilometre long dual carriageway from Mandi Bahauddin city to Grand Trunk (G.T.) Road, Sarai Alamgir, at the cost of PKR 7 billion
- The Punjab University of Technology Campus at Rasul, at the cost of PKR 6 billion
- Sub campus of University of Gujrat (UoG)

It is disclosed that Mandi Bahauddin Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Shahid has announced a local holiday on Friday in the town due to the visit of PM Khan.
