Gujranwala: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Gujranwala has prepared an elaborate plan for a mega project that is aimed at turning Gujranwala into a ‘city of gardens’ – a news source reported.
The purpose behind this proposal is to provide citizens with ample opportunities for entertainment in the city. In this regard, the PHA plans to develop the parks that have been left undeveloped in the district, and have already begun planting grass, trees, flowers and plants for this reason.

The announcement was made by PHA Vice Chairman Ch. Ali Bashir Mahr, while he was visiting the Gujranwala Commissioner’s office. Speaking on the occasion, Gujranwala Commissioner Zulfiqar Ahmad Ghumman appreciated the role that the PHA had played in the development of the city. He also assured PHA Vice Chairman of his full cooperation in the implementation of the government’s Clean & Green Gujranwala programme.
