Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) will start working on the Multan Ring Road Project by March next year, news sources reported on August 26. The project alignment and final design will be prepared by the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK).

The news was shared by MDA Director General (DG) Kaisar Saleem while speaking to members of the Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI). He stated that the project’s final alignment and the route will be planned in collaboration with the MCCI. On the occasion, the DG also unveiled several additional city development initiatives. Following are the projects that were announced:
- MDA will launch Allama Iqbal Town, a 250-acre (10-murabba) housing project on Vehari Road.
- Water filtration plants will be installed in collaboration with the MCCI
