Multan: Newly-appointed Commissioner (Multan Division) Shan-ul-Haq on Thursday ordered the Multan Development Authority (MDA) officials to resolve problems being faced by residents of the authority’s own housing scheme – as well as of the dwellers residing in private projects within the MDA’s jurisdiction on a priority basis, according to news sources.

The commissioner made these remarks while presiding over a performance review meeting of the MDA’s one-window cell facility. He directed the officials concerned to perform their duties vigilantly and said that the department should resolve these issues effectively through the one-window cell utility.
He instructed the officials to resolve the issues of MDA’s housing schemes on a merit basis and without discrimination.

MDA Director General (DG) Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas briefed the commissioner on all departmental directorates, the city’s master plan, private housing schemes and challenges being faced by the MDA. Other concerned officials of the MDA were also in attendance for this meeting.
