Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has announced the allocation of plots to pay tribute to the sacrifices of Punjab Police Shuhada (martyrs) within private housing societies under its jurisdiction, according to news published on August 24.

During a meeting convened on Tuesday (August 22), MDA Director General MDA Zahid Ikram engaged with housing societies’ proprietors and developers to deliberate on this commendable initiative. The discussion revealed that two to three plots in the housing projects will be exclusively designated for the martyrs of the esteemed police force.
Mr Ikram stated that several major cities across the province have already taken the lead in reserving plots to honour Punjab Police Shuhada. Acknowledging the nobility of this endeavour, he earnestly urged housing societies to actively participate in this initiative and contribute to its noble cause.
Moreover, the Director General emphasized the significance of collaboration among all stakeholders to establish a uniform and equitable approach to the successful execution of this initiative. This collaborative effort aims to ensure that the allocation of plots remains consistent and fair throughout the housing societies falling under the purview of the MDA.
