Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has ended the policy of reviewing building layout at its one-window cell to facilitate the public, a news source reported. This will save people from double-scrutiny when coming to MDA for map-approvals.
Previously, to have their maps approved, the applicants had to get their layout plans checked at the one-window cell and submit their replies. Then they had to face the reservations from Town Planning, and Urban Planning departments.
Now, each applicant will submit their maps at the one-window cell, but the maps will be reviewed only by the Town Planning or Urban Planning department.
This is expected to significantly ease the process of map-approval for the applicants. Not only will they be able to avoid a significant amount of frustration but save time as well.
