Karachi: The Malir Development Authority (MDA) is all set to auction off commercial plots in schemes 45 and 25-A on October 13 and October 14 respectively, news sources reported. The auction of the plots will take place at Junagarh Lawn adjacent to the Mushrique Shopping Center in Gulshan-e-Iqbal at 10 am.
According to the details, Scheme 45 is part of Taiser Town where 64 plots measuring between 60 sq yds and 7,000 sq yds are marked for auction on October 13. Whereas, in Scheme 25-A, which is a part of the Shah Latif Town located on the National Highway, a total of 38 plots measuring 50 sq yds and 800 sq yds are up for auction on the following day. Overall, as many as 100 plots are up for auction in both schemes.
The plots being auctioned in Schemes 45 and 25-A are located in varying sub-sectors. The officials have confirmed that the auction is being held to increase revenue.
