Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has approved the budget proposal of PKR 4.36 billion for the upcoming fiscal year 2023-24, which will be used for various developmental and government-funded projects, according to the news published on July 11.

In a recent meeting chaired by MDA Additional Director General Shakir Abbas Buzdar, the MDA allocated funds for various expenses. The session approved a budget of PKR 2.29 billion for non-development expenses, PKR 926.822 million for MDA development schemes, and PKR 1.14 billion for government-funded schemes.
The meeting was attended by representatives from different departments, including the finance department, the commissioner of Multan, officials from the Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering (HUD&PHE) department in Lahore, and MDA officials.

It is important to note that the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2023-24 will be finalized and approved during the upcoming meeting of the MDA governing body.
