Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has appointed an administrator to manage the administrative, security, and financial matters (including recovery of dues from the plot allotees) of Fatima Jinnah (FJ) Town, a news source reported.

MDA Director General (DG) Tanveer Iqbal appointed the civic agency’s Estate and Land Management Assistant Director Tahir Shah as the town administrator during a meeting, which was held to review progress on development work in FJ Town on Monday.
Acting in his official capacity, Tahir Shah will oversee various matters of the residential scheme, as well as ensure cleanliness in the society. He has been tasked with submitting a weekly report on the status of development work in the residential scheme to the DG MDA.
Furthermore, DG Iqbal ordered the officials concerned to remove encroachment and illegal constructions and to enforce an entry ban on heavy traffic in Fatima Jinnah (FJ) Town.

He also gave directives for the provision of gas connections in the society.
