Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has issued a warning to the developers of unauthorised housing schemes in the city, according to news published in the leading newspapers on March 30. The warning stated that illegal housing schemes will face severe consequences.

As per the details, MDA Director General (DG) Dr Zahid Akram chaired a meeting to review the performance of directors. He revealed that officers have been instructed to register FIR against the owners of unlawful housing schemes.

Reportedly, the officials have been asked to identify housing projects without approvals. The DG directed the officials to seal and demolish illegal housing schemes and have a zero-tolerance policy against such housing schemes.
