Lahore: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Managing Director Khalid Nazer has requested the assistant commissioners concerned to assist the organisation in its cleanliness endeavours for the city, a news source reported. He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting, which was held at the LWMC office on Tuesday.

The assistant commissioners concerned, along with general managers of operations, procurement and human resources, were all present at the occasion. They received briefings on the daily operational mechanism of the departments tasked with carrying out cleanliness campaigns in Lahore.
The attendees visited the LWMC Video Wall control room, where they were explained about the monitoring and vehicle tracking systems. They were also explained about the workers’ daily routine, attendance, and supervision details.

These individuals appreciate the efforts of the LWMC and expressed willingness to contribute to the cleanliness campaigns. The MD LWMC stressed that it was the requirement of the time for the departments to work closely and warned that any negligence from any worker or officer shall not be tolerated by the LWMC.
