Lahore: The Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) is all set to revamp and upgrade the Badami Bagh Bus Stand. The MCL has sanctioned the four-phase master plan for the modernization of the general bus stand at Badami Bagh, according to news sources.
The first two phases will witness the completion of upgradation work on sewerage lines and Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) work at central roads. In the first two phases, work on sewerage lines. For this purpose, the MCL has specifically allocated PKR 13 million and PKR 35 million for the two phases.

The master plan outlines the embellishment of the main terminal, male/female single washrooms adjacent to the green-belt. Additionally, security fences and walk-through gates will also be constructed at the entrances of the bus stand. On the other hand, tuff-tiles will also be cemented at a 50-kanal area reserved for service station and parking. Likewise, the establishment of a digital tax collection centre is also expected to commence soon.
To this effect, the private firms have been requested to submit their proposals.
