Islamabad: Islamabad Mayor, who is also the Capital Development Authority Chairman, Sheikh Anser Aziz inspected the development work on Koral Interchange yesterday and directed the authorities concerned to complete the construction work by December this year, reports a news source.
According to details, the mayor visited the construction site of Koral Interchange and inspected pace and quality of work at different sections of the project, which is part of the signal-free corridor – a mega project that will ease the traffic entering to the capital and also offer an easy commute to the residents of adjoining areas.
During the inspection, Aziz was informed that 43% work on the interchange and two out of the three underpasses on the signal-free corridor have been completed. He instructed the department concerned to make sure that the quality of the project isn’t compromised.
