Lahore: The Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA) has revealed the initial master plan for the Central Business District (CBD) that is to be developed at the Walton Airport, according to news reports shared on January 5.

As per the details of the master plan, 17% of the project land is to be used for high-rise residential properties and 40% for mixed-use developments. Moreover, land area spanning 180,000 sq ft will be used for development of road infrastructure. It was also announced that the cost estimates for feasibility study, construction supervision, and infrastructure design is around PKR 94 million.

The source claims that the project will feature the following facilities:
• Commercial projects on land spanning 218 kanals
• A 3-kanal lake
• Parks on 15 kanals
• Green areas
• Underground parking
• Utility buildings
It was revealed that the constructions of the said project will be executed in association with private developers.
