Chilas: The Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Public Works Department (PWD) on Tuesday (August 02) has invited technical and financial proposals under the Quality-and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method to prepare the Master Plan of Chilas and Astore Town-2050, according to a notice published in the national dailies.

The GB PWD will be receiving bids till 2 PM on August 29 and will open them on the same date at 02:30 PM in presence of all bidders. The technical bids are to be submitted with bid security of PKR 1 million in the shape of a call deposit by a scheduled bank of Pakistan – in favour of Superintending Engineer Circle GB PWD Diamer.
It was highlighted that the technical bids without call deposits will be treated as non-responsive and technical bids of non-responsive bidders will be returned unopened. The applicants are requested to mark each envelope as ‘technical bid’ and ‘financial bid’ separately.

Reputable dynamic, experienced and result-oriented consultancy firms that meet the criteria specified by the department are encouraged to apply. The interested parties can get further information, and purchase the bidding document/RFP document submission of a written application and cash payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 10,000 from the GB PWD Diamer Executive Engineer B&R Division’s Office from August 2.
