Lahore: Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Nawaz Sharif Information Technology (IT) City project in Lahore as reported by the news source on May 21.

The IT City, spanning 853 acres, will be tax-free for the next 10 years. The project also includes the development of a Knowledge City and a Film City. CM Maryam Nawaz highlighted that numerous universities will establish campuses in Knowledge City. The government is committed to providing comprehensive facilities to investors, and there is already significant interest from leading IT companies in the Nawaz Sharif IT City.

During the inauguration ceremony, CM Maryam Nawaz reflected on the project’s origins, noting that Nawaz Sharif laid the foundation for the IT City, with the initial phase completed in just two and a half months.
