Lahore: The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ initiative has now expanded to 11 districts, delivering over 60 essential services directly to citizens’ doorsteps, as reported on September 11.

As per details, the initiative is designed to enhance public service delivery, allowing residents to access a wide range of government services without needing to visit any offices.
Using the ‘Dastak Delivery App, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), citizens can now avail services such as Birth Certificates, FIR copies, Marriage Certificates, Learner’s Driving License, Vehicle Ownership Transfers, Property Tax Payments, e-Stamping, International Driving License Renewal, Police Character Certificates, Tenant Registration, Token Tax Payments, General Police Verifications, and more.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf emphasized the program’s importance, stating, “The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ initiative has provided tremendous relief to various segments of society, especially women, the elderly, the sick, and working individuals, by removing the hassle of visiting government offices and standing in long lines.” He added that the initiative is a step towards a modern and innovative model of service delivery.

Currently, the program is active in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Okara, and Pakpattan. Citizens can avail themselves of these services through the Dastak Delivery App or by calling 1202 for assistance.
