Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has teamed up with the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) to initiate a major housing project ‘Margalla Orchards’ on Park Road, Islamabad.

On September 22, it was officially reported that construction work has begun on the massive 8,380-kanal land, which will feature 4,781 residential plots. Of these, 2,088 plots are reserved for FGEHA, specifically allocated for federal government employees, while the remaining plots will cater to members of the SCBA.
The main objective of the project is to meet the growing demand for affordable housing in Islamabad, particularly for government employees and the legal fraternity. During the project’s inauguration, representatives of SCBA assured that those whose land had been acquired for this development would be fairly compensated, underlining their commitment to maintaining transparency and fairness.
