ISLAMABAD – In response to the overwhelming demand for residential plots in the capital, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the launch of additional residential plots in Margalla Enclave, a prime development located in Sector C-14. The decision comes after the CDA received an unprecedented number of applications for residential plots during the recent balloting for the area.
Margalla Enclave, a joint venture between the CDA and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), is strategically located on Park Road, offering easy access to Islamabad’s key areas. The recent balloting saw a total of 1,700 applications submitted for just 236 available plots, each measuring 500 square yards, highlighting the significant demand for housing in this area.

To cater to this demand, the CDA has decided to offer a wider range of residential plot sizes, including five marlas, 10 marlas, and 500 square yards. These new plots will be part of the larger Margalla Enclave development, which is poised to become one of Islamabad’s most sought-after residential neighborhoods.
A CDA spokesperson stated, “We are offering a variety of plot sizes to accommodate both investors and those looking to build their homes in a well-connected and rapidly developing area of the city.” The move is expected to provide more affordable options for potential buyers while maintaining the project’s appeal to a wide range of people.
To make the plots accessible to a broader range of buyers, the CDA is offering flexible payment plans, with options for one, two, or three years. This initiative aims to make the residential plots more affordable, catering to different financial capacities and helping people secure their investments more easily.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa expressed that the expansion of Margalla Enclave represents a significant milestone in Islamabad’s urban development. “This project will serve as a benchmark for future residential developments in the capital, contributing to the city’s growth and modernisation,” he said.

The development work in Sector C-14 is progressing on schedule, and the CDA is committed to ensuring timely possession of plots once the final instalment has been cleared. Buyers will receive possession of their plots within 10 months of receiving a letter of intimation from the CDA.
In addition to its prime location, Margalla Enclave will offer modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art utilities, and ample green spaces, making it an attractive choice for both investors and homeowners. The CDA has also emphasised that the project incorporates sustainable living practices to meet the growing demand for environmentally-friendly residential options.
The expansion of Margalla Enclave follows the success of Sector C-14, which saw a high level of interest during the recent plot balloting. The CDA has encouraged buyers to confirm their plot allocations and submit their first instalment to secure their investments.
