Peshawar: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to convert University of Engineering & Tenhnology (UET) Peshawar Campus into an independent engineering and technology university, a news source quoted KPK Education Minister Muhammad Atif Khan. Once constructed, UET Mardan will become the second largest university in the province.
The UET Mardan campus is being constructed on 351 kanals of land at a cost of PKR 3.71 billion. The facility will have hostels, transport services, a central library, medical services, and sports centres. According to Atif, classes in UET will start from August this year.
