Mansehra: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is all set to begin work on the Mansehra Gravity Flow Water Supply scheme soon with the PKR 16 billion assistance provided by the Saudi Investment Bank, according to news published in the leading newspaper on May 22.

A Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Babar Saleem Swati revealed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Saudi Investment Bank and the provincial government earlier this year. According to the details, the major water scheme will address the clean water drinking shortage issue in Mansehra city. Moreover, the MPA clarified that the water project will be executed through the soft loans acquired by the government from Saudi Investment Bank.

Reportedly, a high school for girls and a new degree college for boys will start classes in the next academic session providing quality education. It was revealed that work on two degree colleges for boys and girls was completed and work on the third is underway at a fast pace.
